Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Lead 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify paradigm-shifting technologies and market disruptions
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation strategy with 5-year business objectives
- Manage a $10M+ R&D portfolio with measurable ROI on moonshot projects
- Host high-stakes 'Future Forums' with industry luminaries and academic partners
- Author forward-looking thought leadership for global tech summits
- Mentor a team of 8+ futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching market-defining innovations
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Portfolio of 3+ major innovation transformations
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP-V, etc.)
