Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, neurotech, and climate resilience
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops with Nobel laureates and startup founders
- Author forward-looking white papers published in Nature Futures and MIT Tech Review
- Advise C-suite on exponential technology adoption risks and opportunities
- Curate annual 'Future of 2026' summit with 500+ global stakeholders
- Mentor internal teams on futurism methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience as futurist, innovation strategist, or R&D lead
- Published portfolio of trend analysis or scenario planning documents
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Proficiency in foresight frameworks (horizon scanning, Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term transformation
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into narratives
