Responsibilities
- Scan horizon technologies (quantum AI, synthetic biology, climate tech) to identify 2026-2030 breakthrough opportunities
- Develop patentable innovation frameworks yielding 3+ market-disrupting prototypes annually
- Lead global think tanks with MIT, Stanford, and WHO affiliates to shape future policy
- Architect 'Future Labs' incubating $50M+ valuation ventures
- Present foresight insights at Davos, TED, and UN Innovation Summits
- Mentor PhD fellows in transdisciplinary innovation methodologies
- Secure $10M+ annual R&D funding through strategic partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Innovation, or equivalent with 10+ years foresight experience
- Published 5+ peer-reviewed papers on technological singularity or exponential tech
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations (3+ exits >$100M)
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, CRISPR, or carbon capture domains
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
- Patent portfolio with 20+ granted innovations in emerging tech
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
