Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Technology Horizon Roadmap, identifying emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate next-gen solutions targeting 2026 market readiness
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs to secure first-mover advantage
- Present quarterly future-state briefings to the board and executive stakeholders
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for high-potential 2026-focused initiatives
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and innovation architects
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 industry disruption scenarios
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with demonstrated experience in future-state planning
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Proven track record of launching at least two disruptive products/services with 5+ year market impact
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Research methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into executive narratives
- Published author or keynote speaker on technological transformation topics
