- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite stakeholders and board members
- Drive patent portfolio development for breakthrough intellectual property
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of launching market-defining innovations
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futurism
- Strong network of industry connections in Silicon Valley and global tech hubs
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (STEEP, Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
