Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions and regulatory frameworks
- Lead cross-disciplinary task forces on quantum-AI convergence and decentralized governance systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and other future-focused institutions
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis
- Present quarterly future-tech briefings to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio for emerging technology incubation
- Mentor PhD fellows through our 2026 Tech Fellowship Program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in Nature Futures or ACM Digital Library on 2020+ tech trends
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Delphi Method)
- Experience scaling tech teams from 50 to 500+ personnel
- Deep expertise in quantum computing architecture and AI governance frameworks
- Fluency in at least one predictive modeling language (Python/R/Julia)
- Proven track record of commercializing pre-2020 emerging technologies
