Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market forecasts and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AGI) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen tech solutions
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, tech talks, and R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with demonstrated success in emerging tech adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic systems
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products in regulated industries
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Certification in technology foresight methodology (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
