Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 Technical Support: Assist customers via phone, email, and chat by diagnosing and troubleshooting common hardware and software issues.
- Issue Resolution: Follow standard operating procedures to resolve tickets efficiently, escalating complex issues to senior technicians when necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions, resolutions, and technical logs in our CRM system.
- Customer Communication: Deliver clear, jargon-free explanations to ensure customers understand the solutions provided.
- System Learning: Quickly adapt to and master our internal knowledge base and support tools through on-the-job training.
- Feedback Loop: Provide constructive feedback to the product team regarding common user errors and system usability.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value attitude and aptitude over history.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and empathetically with a diverse customer base.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web browsers.
- Problem Solving: Strong logical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic technical problems independently.
- Reliability: Ability to work full-time hours, including some evenings or weekends, as business needs dictate.
