Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with 2026 net-zero targets
- Lead ESG reporting initiatives and maintain GRI/SASB compliance
- Manage cross-functional sustainability projects (carbon footprint reduction, waste diversion, circular economy)
- Stakeholder engagement with C-suite, investors, and sustainability boards
- Drive innovation in sustainable supply chain optimization
- Conduct lifecycle assessments and environmental impact analysis
- Build and mentor high-performing sustainability teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
- 8+ years progressive experience in corporate sustainability leadership
- Proven track record of achieving 2020-2025 sustainability milestones
- Certification in LEED, GRI, or similar sustainability framework
- Expertise in carbon accounting tools (e.g., SimaPro, EcoVadis)
- Experience with federal/state sustainability regulations (SEC climate rules, California AB 253)
- Advanced data visualization and impact reporting skills
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication abilities
