- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic roadmaps with quantifiable future-state scenarios
- Facilitate executive workshops translating future insights into actionable innovation priorities
- Establish cross-functional Future Councils to embed foresight into R&D, product, and marketing roadmaps
- Produce annual '2026 Vision Report' with validated predictions and strategic recommendations
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend forecasting, and systemic analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) or societal transformation
- Exceptional communication skills distilling complex futures into executive narratives
- Experience building cross-functional teams around future-oriented initiatives
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, SFRA) preferred
