Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technical Roadmap: Collaborate with leadership to establish a comprehensive architectural vision for upcoming product releases and infrastructure evolution.
- System Design & Scalability: Architect scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and distributed systems capable of handling high concurrency and massive data loads.
- Tech Stack Leadership: Mentor engineering teams in best practices, code reviews, and modern architectural patterns (e.g., Event-Driven, Serverless).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and security experts to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and compliance standards.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in legacy systems and lead the migration strategy to modern cloud-native solutions.
- Disaster Recovery & Security: Design and implement robust backup strategies and security protocols to protect critical data assets.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead architectural role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Java; proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure; experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Architecture: Proven track record of designing complex distributed systems and API gateways.
- Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on performance optimization and cost-efficiency.
