In this pivotal role, you will translate business goals into technical roadmaps, mentor high-performing engineering teams, and drive innovation that defines the standard for the industry in 2026.
Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technical Roadmap: Lead the strategic vision for our technology stack, identifying emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and edge devices.
- System Design & Architecture: Design complex, high-scale distributed systems that prioritize security, scalability, and performance.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering leads to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution.
- Technology Evaluation: Conduct deep-dive research and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for cutting-edge technologies to ensure Apex Horizon remains a market leader.
- Team Mentorship: Foster a culture of technical excellence, providing guidance and mentorship to junior architects and senior engineers alike.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with key technology partners and cloud providers.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a strategic or leadership role.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
- AI & Data: Strong understanding of machine learning pipelines, large language models (LLMs), and data governance strategies.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of defining long-term technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
