As we look toward 2026, the landscape of Search Engine Optimization is undergoing a radical transformation driven by Artificial Intelligence, Generative Search, and Predictive Analytics. Nexus Digital is seeking a visionary Senior SEO Strategist to lead our next-generation optimization efforts.
In this pivotal role, you will not just optimize for rankings; you will architect the user experience for the search engines of tomorrow. You will bridge the gap between technical engineering, data science, and content strategy to dominate the zero-click search era.
If you are obsessed with the intersection of SEO and Machine Learning, and you want to build the frameworks that define search behavior in 2026, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a forward-looking SEO roadmap focused on 2026 trends, including Semantic Search, Voice AI, and Multimodal Search.
- Lead technical SEO initiatives, including schema.org implementation, Core Web Vitals optimization, and infrastructure scalability for AI-driven indexing.
- Analyze predictive data models to forecast search trends and algorithmic shifts before they impact the market.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate Natural Language Processing (NLP) into our content strategy and user experience.
- Manage complex site migrations and international SEO expansion strategies.
- Conduct deep-dive audits of SERP features and competitor intelligence using proprietary 2026-ready tools.
- Train and mentor junior SEO analysts on emerging technologies and algorithmic updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in technical SEO and digital strategy, with a focus on future-proofing strategies.
- Deep understanding of Generative AI models (e.g., GPT-4, LLaMA) and how they influence search engine algorithms.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, SQL for querying large datasets, and familiarity with Google BigQuery or similar data warehouses.
- Proven track record of improving organic visibility and traffic for high-velocity, complex websites.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Developers, and Product Managers.
- Strong knowledge of semantic markup, structured data, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
