Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum algorithms and hybrid quantum-classical systems to solve complex, high-impact problems.
- Lead the technical vision for quantum integration within our existing AI frameworks and product ecosystem.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware engineers, data scientists, and product managers) to translate theoretical research into deployable software.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of quantum circuits to ensure production readiness.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, and advanced AI to drive strategic roadmap decisions.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on quantum information science.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years specifically focused on quantum computing or advanced AI systems.
- Deep proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Qiskit or Cirq.
- Strong understanding of quantum mechanics principles, superposition, entanglement, and quantum error correction.
- Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects on time.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
