Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable quantum circuit architectures for next-generation computing systems.
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms to solve complex business and scientific problems.
- Lead the integration of quantum hardware with classical control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists.
- Conduct research on quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols.
- Mentor junior architects and contribute to the technical vision for 2026 and beyond.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture with a focus on high-performance computing.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, quantum gates, and superposition.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Qiskit or Cirq.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, experimental environment.
