Responsibilities
- Architecture & Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based microservices and APIs using modern frameworks (Django, FastAPI, or Flask).
- Database Optimization: Design efficient database schemas and optimize complex queries for high throughput and low latency using PostgreSQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and frontend developers to define features and deliver high-quality software.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; conduct thorough code reviews and perform technical mentoring for junior engineers.
- Cloud Integration: Manage and deploy applications on AWS or GCP using containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Testing & QA: Implement comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure system reliability.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with Python.
- Frameworks: Strong proficiency in Django or FastAPI frameworks.
- Databases: Deep understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL) and experience with NoSQL databases.
- DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Cloud: Experience deploying and managing applications in AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical requirements into business value.
