Responsibilities
- Lead System Architecture: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and distributed systems that power our core AI engine.
- Technical Strategy: Define technical roadmaps and best practices for engineering excellence, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term vision.
- Code Optimization: Drive performance optimization initiatives, reducing latency and increasing throughput for real-time data processing.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior and senior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, code reviews, and technical innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and security experts to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Incident Management: Lead post-mortem analysis and incident response efforts to improve system resilience and reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or principal leadership role.
- Core Languages: Deep expertise in Python, Go, Rust, or Java.
- Cloud & DevOps: Proven experience architecting solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP, with strong proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Database Skills: Advanced knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB) databases.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous technical problems under pressure.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
