Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable server-side applications using Node.js and Express.
- Architect RESTful APIs and microservices to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies for speed.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high standards.
- Ensure application security and data integrity across all layers.
- Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js, Express, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT).
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
