Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy scalable network solutions for 16+ stadium venues and fan zones.
- Oversee the integration of 5G and Wi-Fi 6E technologies to ensure seamless fan connectivity.
- Lead cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive broadcast data and fan information from global threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure meets FIFA compliance and operational standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for network operations and disaster recovery.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the implementation of third-party network equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in network architecture, infrastructure engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent elite network certifications are highly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, mission-critical projects with strict deadlines.
- Deep understanding of SD-WAN, VoIP, broadcast network protocols, and MPLS.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT security best practices.
