Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design, train, and fine-tune large-scale Generative AI models using transformer architectures and modern deep learning frameworks.
- System Architecture: Build scalable MLOps pipelines to handle data ingestion, model training, and deployment for real-time applications.
- Optimization: Implement advanced optimization techniques (quantization, distillation) to improve model inference speed and reduce latency.
- RAG Implementation: Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems to ensure accuracy and reduce hallucinations in production environments.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Legal) to integrate AI capabilities into user-facing products.
- Research: Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging trends in AI safety, alignment, and multimodal capabilities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on AI/ML or NLP.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Deep understanding of Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, and vector databases.
- MLOps: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Strong ability to debug complex distributed systems and optimize model performance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
