Innovatech Solutions is seeking a visionary Senior Futurist & Technology Strategist to lead our efforts in anticipating and shaping the future of technology. This role is critical in helping our organization stay ahead of the curve by identifying emerging trends, evaluating their potential impact, and developing strategic initiatives.
As a key member of our executive team, you will analyze global technological shifts, forecast industry disruptions, and translate complex insights into actionable roadmaps. You'll collaborate with R&D, product, and leadership teams to ensure our innovations align with future market demands and societal needs.
Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 5-10 year horizons
- Develop strategic roadmaps for future-proofing product portfolios
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives
- Identify and evaluate disruptive market opportunities
- Author thought leadership reports on technological convergence
- Partner with academic institutions and research labs
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in forecasting industry disruptions
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Strategic Studies
- Exceptional data analysis and systems thinking abilities
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies
