Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary research initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market disruptions, and socioeconomic trends through 2026
- Develop comprehensive strategic frameworks and scenario-planning models for organizational resilience and growth
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to integrate foresight insights into innovation pipelines
- Present compelling strategic narratives to executive stakeholders and external partners through data-driven visualizations
- Establish and maintain thought leadership through white papers, keynote presentations, and industry publications
- Manage cross-functional teams to execute strategic foresight projects with measurable impact
- Monitor global geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes affecting long-term business strategy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Track record of developing and implementing successful 5-10 year strategic frameworks
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight organizations) preferred
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams and presenting to C-suite executives
