Responsibilities
- Analyze technological, economic, and social trends to create comprehensive 2026+ foresight frameworks
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology disruptions
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders to prepare for future market shifts
- Design and implement innovation pipelines for emerging technology adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and industry leaders
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
- Author thought leadership content and represent company at global futurism conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurism work or implemented strategic foresight projects
