Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats across industries
- Produce high-impact future-state reports and whitepapers for executive decision-making
- Build and maintain relationships with thought leaders, academic institutions, and innovation hubs
- Translate complex future scenarios into product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic innovation
- Present findings to boards and investors using compelling data visualization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in foresight or strategy publications
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact matrices)
- Track record of driving multi-year strategic initiatives to commercial success
