Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multi-year technology foresight frameworks with quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops for disruptive forces (AI, quantum computing, climate tech)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future trends into roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and deliver keynotes at global forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation scouting network
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published research on AI ethics, sustainable tech, or human augmentation
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Track record of influencing executive decisions through trend analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major future-proofing initiatives
