You'll lead cross-functional initiatives spanning quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, and human augmentation – while mentoring a team of forward-thinking innovators.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends to develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on AI, biotech, and climate disruption
- Author disruptive innovation whitepapers published in top-tier industry journals
- Manage $5M+ R&D portfolio for emerging technologies with 3+ year ROI horizons
- Spearhead partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and NASA JPL
- Mentor junior futurists using proprietary Horizon Foresight Methodology™
- Present to investor boards on market disruption vectors and competitive moats
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Quantitative Economics
- Published author in Harvard Business Review or MIT Technology Review
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Experience with UN SDG impact frameworks and ESG integration
- Track record of scaling ventures from concept to $100M+ valuation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (ACF/SF) or equivalent
