Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech) and translate insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ market entry
- Develop patent-pending technology frameworks for next-gen consumer and enterprise solutions
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation strategies with corporate vision
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at global tech forums
- Build and manage a network of academic, industry, and government futurist collaborators
- Design scenarios for societal impact assessment of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or technology innovation roles
- Proven track record of developing commercialized future-tech roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurist or technology strategy publications
- Experience securing government grants or corporate funding for futuristic initiatives
