Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological disruptions across AI, quantum, and synthetic biology
- Develop and maintain a strategic innovation roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Oversee the implementation of emerging technology pilots with measurable ROI
- Pioneer new methodologies for strategic foresight and innovation management
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Exceptional storytelling and scenario-planning abilities
- Published thought leadership in futures or technology journals
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation portfolios
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
