Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 innovation roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D priorities
- Author forward-looking whitepapers on quantum AI integration and neuro-ethical frameworks
- Partner with C-suite executives to align corporate strategy with emerging technological shifts
- Establish KPIs for measuring impact of future-focused initiatives on market positioning
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and probabilistic forecasting methodologies
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech foresight forums and academic symposiums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and probabilistic forecasting
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field
- Published author in futurist publications (e.g., Futures Research Quarterly)
- Experience leading teams across global R&D centers
