Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic foresight models for enterprise decision-making
- Produce high-impact visualizations and reports translating complex future landscapes into actionable insights
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to integrate foresight findings into innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Mentor junior futurists and establish best practices for foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in trend analysis, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and qualitative research techniques
- Portfolio demonstrating past foresight projects with measurable business impact
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
