Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight framework through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead interdisciplinary 'Future Labs' workshops with C-suite executives and R&D teams
- Author quarterly '2026 Pulse' reports predicting disruptive market shifts
- Design prototype scenarios for metaverse integration, quantum AI, and biotech convergence
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive modeling and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial products
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Published thought leadership in future studies (TEDx, WIRED, or equivalent)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-to-market initiatives
