Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging trends, technologies, and societal shifts impacting 2026 landscape
- Develop and maintain predictive models for technological adoption and market disruption
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate foresight into innovation pipelines and product roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visual storytelling
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Design and facilitate foresight workshops to cultivate future-oriented thinking across departments
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating complex trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend impact methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-level executives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Ability to synthesize diverse data sources into coherent future narratives
