Responsibilities
- Lead the research and development of advanced multimodal AI models focused on autonomy, reasoning, and complex task execution.
- Design and implement novel neural architectures to improve model efficiency, reduce latency, and minimize hallucination rates.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to translate high-level research findings into production-ready APIs and infrastructure.
- Establish and maintain a strong publication record in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL) and contribute to the open-source community.
- Advocate for ethical AI practices and contribute to the development of internal governance frameworks for responsible deployment.
- Mentor and guide junior researchers and data scientists within the department, fostering a culture of innovation.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in AI/ML research or applied machine learning.
- Deep expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and distributed computing systems (Kubernetes, Ray).
- Proven track record of publishing research papers and contributing to significant, open-source projects.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
