Job Description
Are you ready to architect the future?
We are seeking a visionary Senior AI Architect to lead the 2026 Initiative, our groundbreaking research project aimed at defining the next decade of artificial intelligence. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is possible and have a knack for translating complex theoretical concepts into scalable engineering solutions, we want to meet you.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of neuroscience and machine learning, designing neural architectures that anticipate the demands of the year 2026 and beyond. You will collaborate with a world-class team of researchers, ethicists, and engineers to build systems that are not only powerful but also transparent and safe.
Why join the 2026 Initiative?
* Impact: Work on foundational technology that will redefine industries.
* Resources: Access to cutting-edge compute, proprietary datasets, and top-tier talent.
* Culture: A dynamic, remote-first environment that values creativity and autonomy.
We are looking for a leader who thrives in ambiguity and is driven by a mission to accelerate the future.

- Lead a cross-functional team of ML engineers and data scientists to implement novel AI architectures.
- Conduct rigorous research to evaluate the efficacy and safety of emerging AI paradigms.
- Optimize model inference and training pipelines to handle massive-scale data processing.
- Define technical standards and best practices for the development of next-gen artificial general intelligence (AGI) components.
- Present complex technical concepts to stakeholders and non-technical audiences with clarity and precision.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in machine learning architecture.
- Deep expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
- Experience with high-performance computing systems (HPC) and distributed training environments.
- Strong understanding of AI ethics, safety, and alignment research.
