Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of complex 2D interactive web applications using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance, scalability, and responsiveness across all supported devices and browsers.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Develop robust solutions to handle varying browser behaviors and legacy system integrations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive products.
- Testing: Implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the stability and reliability of 2D rendering engines.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a specific focus on 2D graphics and interactive web technologies.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Strong experience with Canvas API and SVG manipulation.
- Libraries: Familiarity with libraries such as D3.js, Pixi.js, or Phaser.js is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex algorithmic problems related to rendering and animation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
