Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service through product knowledge, recommendations, and problem-solving
- Drive sales through upselling, cross-selling, and personalized shopping experiences
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash handling protocols
- Execute visual merchandising standards to maintain an attractive sales floor
- Participate in inventory management including stock replenishment and cycle counts
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store-wide sales and service goals
- Build lasting customer relationships through personalized follow-ups and loyalty program engagement
- Actively participate in ongoing product training and team development sessions
Qualifications
- No prior retail or sales experience required – we train all new hires!
- High school diploma or equivalent (currently enrolled students welcome)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and natural customer service aptitude
- Strong verbal communication and active listening abilities
- Basic math proficiency for transactions and inventory tasks
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Adaptability to flexible scheduling including weekends/holidays
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new products and processes
