Responsibilities
- Engage customers proactively to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets on a monthly basis.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize average transaction value.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve store performance and customer satisfaction scores.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior retail or sales experience is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating commissions.
- Self-motivated with a hunger to succeed and earn commission-based bonuses.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Proficiency with POS systems and computer software.
