As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in connecting customers with the heavy machinery and equipment they need for their projects. We pride ourselves on our reputation for quality and service, and we are looking for someone who embodies these values.
Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their equipment needs and project requirements.
- Demonstrate and explain the features, benefits, and safe operation of our extensive inventory of construction and industrial equipment.
- Utilize company-provided tools and demonstration units to drive sales conversions and exceed monthly targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and ensure all demonstration equipment is in peak working condition.
- Process sales transactions accurately, including rental agreements and equipment returns.
- Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new product arrivals to provide expert advice.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or equipment rental preferred.
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record (Company Vehicle Provided).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a diverse customer base.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating rental terms.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform minor maintenance checks on equipment.
