Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting and photonic qubit technologies
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical system architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead implementation of quantum error correction protocols achieving fault-tolerant operations
- Collaborate with AI research teams to integrate quantum accelerators into machine learning frameworks
- Architect secure quantum communication networks with quantum key distribution protocols
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery and materials science simulations
- Establish performance benchmarks for quantum advantage in real-world applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical HPC frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of leading complex technical projects in quantum or high-performance computing
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with quantum hardware integration and calibration protocols
