Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping error-corrected quantum systems
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through federal partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Develop patent portfolios for commercial quantum applications
- Present findings at international tech forums (e.g., Davos, CES)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in quantum circuit design or quantum error correction
- Published research in quantum supremacy demonstrations
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Experience securing NSF/NIH grants for advanced research
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
- Track record of translating theory into scalable prototypes
