Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms optimized for 2026-era hardware constraints
- Lead research in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical systems

- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature Physics, Science, etc.)
- Secure $2M+ in annual research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (2020-2026 graduates)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complexity theory
- Track record of securing competitive research grants
