Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with hardware teams to reduce quantum decoherence rates below 0.1%
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI and blockchain teams to hybridize classical-quantum systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present at major quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL) on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proficiency with Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and topological qubit systems
- Track record of securing government or corporate research grants
