Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum software for next-generation processors
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Drive cross-functional innovation with AI and cybersecurity teams
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research with published peer-reviewed papers
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-disciplinary environments
