Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop novel quantum algorithms optimizing logistics simulations and drug discovery
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to calibrate 3D quantum processor arrays
- Lead open-source quantum cryptography projects with global research institutions
- Author breakthrough papers on quantum neural networks and topological qubits
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Secure $2M+ in NSF grants for quantum internet infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (exceptional MS candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Published research in quantum information theory or topological computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system calibration and control electronics
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm, quantum Fourier transforms, and variational methods
