Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for 2026-generation qubits
- Lead experimental validation on quantum hardware
- Collaborate with AI teams on hybrid quantum-classical models
- Secure research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Familiarity with superconducting or photonic qubit architectures
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks
