Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Develop error-correction methodologies for scalable quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals
- Secure and manage $1M+ research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap qubits
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of securing government research funding
