Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for post-2026 security standards
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction techniques
- Lead research in quantum machine learning applications for real-world deployment
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and secure $2M+ in annual research funding
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Strong background in quantum information theory and many-body physics
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Excellent communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration
