Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using IBM and Rigetti systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to extend qubit coherence beyond 10ms
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure NSF/DARPA grants
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Advise C-suite on quantum computing roadmap integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor maintenance
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Track record of securing $500K+ research grants
