Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm experiments on 128+ qubit systems
- Develop novel error-correction protocols for practical quantum applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Secure $1M+ in research grants for experimental validation
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with federal agencies on post-quantum cryptography standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum simulators (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or cryptography
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum hardware SDKs
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience securing DoD or NSF research grants
