Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems

- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure federal and private research grants ($5M+ track record preferred)
- Advise government policy committees on quantum security standards
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum annealing or superconducting qubits
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Strong background in cryptography or machine learning
- Demonstrated ability to secure DARPA/NASA research funding
- US citizenship required for government clearance projects
